Where‘s the beef? Or: Give me a bunch of burgers!

At the end of last month, the Linkedin algorithm flushed a post into my timelime that left me somewhat speechless: An animated(!) image of a hamburger whose ingredients represented the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) in all its wild growing beauty – see below or https://lnkd.in/e9-98amg

My attention was definitely caught and I read the whole post.
Unfortunately, it was wasted time as it’s just SAP Name dropping. The post text doesn’t match the burger image and outdated SAP names are used …
OK, the latter is excusable. 😊
The burger metaphor seems to be popular right now: Kobe W. – a dashboard designer I really like on this platform – used cheese, lettuce, bun and onions to describe visualiszation techniques: https://lnkd.in/esKYwg-q
Colourful, animated and a bit cheesy😂 is probably necessary to attract attention in these times. Nevertheless: a bit of content and a minimum of structure would be nice – at least for me.
‘Where’s the beef? ‘* or: “Where is the value besides attention grabbing?”
Is there any?
Have a nice weekend

“Where’s the Beef?” was said by Clara Peller, an elderly actress who starred in a Burger commercial in 1984. The ad showed three older women looking at a hamburger from another restaurant. The bun was huge, but the beef patty was tiny. That’s when Clara asked ”Where’s the Beef?”
The line hit hard because it was so funny.
In no time, “Where’s the Beef?” became a huge hit. People didn’t just use it for burgers. It became a way to ask if something was good enough or had enough value. Video here:
