You are so beautiful …

This time a post that really deserves to be called ‘the goody I found’:
simply beautiful, almost art!
A new, native Power BI widget by Nicholas Lea-Trengrouse. He calls it Parastichy Visual and I find it exceptionally aesthetic.

Spontaneously, I even hummed the melody of Joe Cocker’s song ‘You are so beautiful’ to myself. No idea how I came up with it …

Unfortunately, however, I have no idea what this visual represents or how it is to be understood. What message is linked to the beautifully coloured organic spirals?

Even after long(!) discussions in the team, which I had to bring to a screeching halt at some point, we didn’t make any progress. From: ‘the distance between the dots and the centre is relevant’, over ‘the colour gradient is the result of conditional formatting’, to ‘this is a Fibonacci sequence’ … everything was there. 🙃

The post has been ‘liked’ by more than 120 LinkedIn members; quite a substantial amount.
Are we to dumb? Can anyone help us, please?

BTW: the song mentioned above was a cover by Joe Cocker! But it was a big hit in his version. And contrary to what we probably all think, it’s a song about the songwriter Billy Prestons’ MOTHER (sic!). 😊
