Quiz question: What does a Silver Surfer+ like me do after waking up in bed with my partner? Correct: Grab my mobile phone and turn off the alarm clock! But next \u2013 to activate my little grey cells \u2013 I play \u201cWordle\u201d.

Wordle is a web-based word game in which you have six attempts to guess a five-letter word: https:\/\/lnkd.in\/eZej_TUx<\/strong><\/a>
I like the fact that there is only one game per day, and the story behind its creation is simply wonderful: Wordle was developed in 2021 by developer Josh Wardle (sic!) as a gift for his partner Palak Shah, who is a big fan of word games. He published it online and the game became popular very quickly. In January 2022, Wardle sold Wordle to The New York Times for a \u2018small\u2019 million-dollar sum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile I’m pretty good at it and usually need four attempts, and yes, I’ve even managed a few “twos” and a “one”. (There is also a German version: https:\/\/lnkd.in\/ebzV-CUs<\/strong><\/a>)
Of course, I share the results with my daughters and friends.\ud83d\ude0a

Now, however, a second game has been added every morning, which a colleague brought to my attention a week ago: https:\/\/chartle.cc\/<\/strong><\/a>
Chartle is a visual guessing game in which a chart with a headline and line graphs for several countries is displayed every day. The player’s goal is to match a highlighted line graph to a country in five attempts \u2013 it encourages thinking and includes \u2018aha\u2019 moments.<\/p>\n\n\n
