IMPORTANT:

Due to an error present in several versions of the Flash Player, problems using our add-on might arise.
Please be sure to use the most current version of the Adobe Flash Player.
To find out which version you are using, you can check via this link and, if necessary, update it.
Make sure that you are using Internet Explorer when doing so. If you use any other browser, the Flash Player will not be updated!

FAQ

Why is the menu item "Manage add-ons..." grayed out and cannot be selected?

With Windows Vista, Microsoft introduced the so-called User Account Control (UAC). This is intended to prevent unauthorized users or software (e.g. Trojans) from changing system settings. There is no User Account Control in Windows XP. If the User Account Control is activated, no add-ons can be installed in SAP BO Dashboards (Xcelsius).

To deactivate the User Account Control, please proceed as follows:

1. Launch MSCONFIG by from the Run menu.
2. Click on the Tools tab. Scroll down till you find “Disable UAC”. Click on that line.
3. Press the Launch button.
4. A CMD window will open. When the command is done, you can close the window.
5. Close MSCONFIG. You need to reboot the computer for changes to apply.

If you now start SAP BO Dashboards (Xcelsius), you can install our add-on.

If necessary, you can activate the User Account Control again after the add-on has been installed.
